Our 2021 program has been modified to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by including drive-thru drop-off and pick-up procedures, a predominantly outdoor program with cohort groups rotating through activity areas, and routine sanitizing of high-touch areas. Walking field trips to the Grayslake Aquatic Center will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be no large group field trips using buses during Summer 2021.
Ages 4 - 6
The camp adventure begins here! Our youngest campers are split into two age groups, the Fabulous 4s (4 year olds) and K-1s (kindergarten and grade 1). Beginner Campers will explore and learn about our weekly themes through educational and play activities, as well as age-appropriate field trips, including weekly visits to local parks and the “Splash Park.” (No weekly field trips and Splash Park may not be available in 2021.)
Entering Grades 2-8 in the fall
Your campers are going to have a ton of fun with age-appropriate activities to challenge all areas of growth! Activities that complement our weekly themes include gym games, art, cooking, drama, outdoor team games, water play, Bible time, brain games, STEM, and wilderness exploration, to name a few. This group has a weekly field trip and two trips to the Grayslake Aquatic Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (No weekly field trips in 2021.)
Campers in grades 6-8 will have an option to join the CIT (Campers In Transition) program for a portion of the day. CIT is designed for campers who are interested in taking on leadership roles. They will assist counselors with younger campers or other camp activities. (CIT program modified in 2021.)
LIT Program (Leaders In Training)
Entering Grades 9-10 in the fall
Is your teen too old for camp but too young to work? Leaders In Training is designed to help them develop valuable job and leadership skills as they act as assistant counselors with younger campers and take on necessary responsibilities involved with check-in and check-out time, our snack store, lunch program, and administrative work. LITs will receive job training and time to enjoy favorite camp activities and outings with peers.
Rates cover shirts, entrance fees, and rewards. No registration fee.
