Camp Hours

Regular Day Camp:
8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Drop-off Period:
8:30 am - 9:00 am

Pick-up Period:
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

AM Extended Care*:
7:00 am - 8:30 am

PM Extended Care*:
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

*Extended Care available for a fee on Daily & Weekly rates

 

Beginner Camp

Ages 4–6
The camp adventure begins here! Beginner Campers will join the larger camp group for daily opening assemblies but then split off into their own age-appropriate activities. These include outdoor exploration and free play, as well as story time, science, Bible Time, and art activities. Outdoor fun includes water play and periodic visits to the Grayslake Central Park and Jones Island.

Base Camp

Entering Grades 2–7 in the fall
Your campers are going to have a ton of fun with age-appropriate activities to challenge all areas of growth! Activities that complement our weekly themes include gym games, art, cooking, drama, outdoor team games, water play, Bible Time, brain games, STEM, and wilderness exploration, to name a few. This group will go swimming at the Grayslake Aquatic Center (at no extra cost) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and have opportunities to go fishing and play at local parks.

LIT Program (Leaders In Training)

Entering Grades 8–10 in the fall
Leaders In Training is designed to help young teens develop valuable job and leadership skills as they act as assistants to the camp leaders. LITs will have opportunities for leadership during the drop-off and pick-up time, daily activities, and lunchtime supervision. LITs receive leadership training and constructive feedback from LIT Supervisors. There is a one-time fee of $240 which guarantees LITs will be scheduled 2 days per week for the 9-week summer season. Once the fee has been paid, the LIT supervisor will schedule LITs according to their availability. The fee covers the cost of T-shirts, backpacks, name tags, treats, awards, and administrative costs.
